The United States of America is definitely at the top of our list with so many places offering spectacular fall experiences. It wouldn’t be right not to mention the magnificent New England fall foliage the vibrant colors along the tree-lined streets slowly changing to vibrant reds and oranges. You can not miss out on the beautiful mountain ranges of Colorado and the thrilling ski slopes in aspen. Why not witness the changing seasons on a walk in Central Park with a hot pumpkin spice latte, or if you are looking to be immersed in the upcoming spooky season take a trip to Sleepy Hollow but beware of the headless horseman!

We can not leave our home base of the United Kingdom off the list! Autumn is such a spectacular time of year across the UK. You can explore Hyde Park and watch the seasons come and go, if you arrive at the start of November you can enjoy the Winter Wonderland amusement park or explore the Forest of Dean. Maybe take a trip to Matlock and be dazzled by the Illuminations that last for most of Autumn. York is a must-see if you enjoy the spooky season of Halloween get scared in the York Dungeons and take a walk down the Shambles to feel like you’ve been thrown back in time.

Finally our list of best places to see the colours of autumn conclude with South Africa. It’s not a place people necessarily think of going to in Autumn but don’t forget their Autumn is March to May/June so it’s the reverse of many countries in the world. This makes it perfect if you’re looking for a getaway, take the time to watch the whales come into Hermanus from their breeding grounds or adventure into the wilderness for a Safari in Kroger National Park. Climb Table Mountain and watch the season change from summer to autumn to winter. There is so much to see and do in South Africa and autumn is the best time to do it.
